April is Earth Month, and the folks at ILACSD are sponsoring another Loma Alta Creek and Beach Clean Up. We’re proud of our Oceanside community in California, and we know everyone enjoys using the beaches and inland waterways. With your help we can keep these areas clean and help to protect wildlife.
The event will be taking place on the 23rd of April during the hours of 9 am to 12 pm. Volunteers should pre-register and sign a waiver. You can select the coastal or inland area you prefer to clean up during registration.
All volunteers receive refreshments and supplies for cleaning. Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities and sturdy shoes with closed toes. If possible, bring reusable water bottles, work gloves and a litter bucket to conserve supplies.
