Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us! Be part of Oceanside First Friday Art Walk on May 5, 2017 at the Oceanside Museum of Art. Enjoy a bigger and better Art Walk filled with festive music and several live bands! This event is for all ages so make sure to bring your whole family.
As a special featured attraction this month in conjunction with Art Walk, the Muramid Mural Museum and Art Center in Oceanside will host 50 women and men who support women artists during the 2nd Annual Bad As* Women’s Expo. Women artists ranging from painters, musicians, poets, authors, performers and dancers are scheduled to share their expressions with the community in Oceanside’s emerging “hot spot” for cultural activities where the Muramid Mural Museum is located in Artist Alley. Local, national and international muralists and artists, including one of the world’s best (Mario Torero) have been featured in the Alley. Some of the participating artists will include Ruth Jameson, Beatriz Hidalgo, Lindsay Carron, Isabel Zamen, Krista Timberlake, Nellie Lepe, Natalia Garin, Marilyn Huerta, Sheila Montez, Kelly Halloran and scores more.
