Everyone is requested to join the Annual Heart & Soul Gala of Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFS) which will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014. The event will start at 5:00 in the afternoon at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla located at 3777 La Jolla Village Drive in San Diego.
The 2014 theme is Believe in Love. The accomplishments of Mitzvah Award Honorees Carol and Rick Kornfield, who are committed to providing opportunities to children by means of mentoring as well as carping support will be celebrated. In addition, Karen Foster Silberman’s contribution to taking teens and women away from unhealthy relationships and abused will also be recognized.
The said event is a major fundraiser for JFS that provides more than 50 programs to the community including the HandUp Youth Food Pantry, Social and Wellness Centers for Seniors, JFS Employment & Career Services, and the likes.
