The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to be a part of the 125th celebration of the City of Oceanside on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Civic Center Plaza from 11:00 in the morning onwards.
As part of the celebration, various historical landmarks will be honored on Oceanside’s anniversary including the Pier (a familiar sight since 1888), the Mission San Luis Rey (now on its 215th year), and the Oceanside Small Craft Harbor (celebrating its 50th year).
Various local organizations including the Chamber, City of Oceanside, Main Street Oceanside, Visit Oceanside, Friends of the Oceanside Public Library, and Friends of Oceanside Parks & Recreation will be hosting the Anniversary Cake Cutting Celebration at Civic Center Plaza.
There will also be a presentation of the colors, various proclamations and presentation, entertainment, and refreshments available for the guests.
