The City of Carlsbad is inviting everyone to be a part of the Saturday Trail Event happening on June 15, 2013 from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning. This activity aims to clean out the weeds on the lower trail connecting to Hope Elementary School as well as to clean up the Upper Eucalyptus Grove along Carlsbad Village Drive.
Participants are required to wear long pants, hiking or closed-toe shoes, hats, and sunscreen.
Light refreshments will be provided.
To get to the work site, take the I-5 to Carlsbad Village Drive, head east on Carlsbad Village, drive (about 3 miles) to Victoria Avenue (at midpoint of the big curve), turn right on Victoria Avenue, park along Victoria Avenue and cross Carlsbad Village Drive. The Trailhead is located on the north east side of Carlsbad Village Drive. From this point, there will be signs pointing to the Sign In location.
