Join the Better Balance and Mobility Training Program on December 2, 2013 from 1:45 to 2:45 in the afternoon at the Senior Center Dance Studio of the Carlsbad Senior Center located at 799 Pine Ave., Carlsbad, California.
This training program aims to develop progressive balance for seniors ages 50 years old and above, particularly for those with mobility problems. Participants will be able to improve their posture and sensory systems as well as learn the different tools that can decrease a person’s risk of falling and getting injured. The classes will be instructed by Tia Lanzetta.
Participation fee is at $25 for registrants of the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Department and $35 for non-registrants. This one-time fee covers all four classes under the program. Drop-ins only get to pay $8 per session attended.

The Carlsbad Senior Center is open from Monday to Saturday every week. The Center also conducts evening and Sunday classes and accepts rentals by appointment.
