An eclectic collaboration by Southern California artists Deborah Davidson and Christopher Polentz, Cabinet of Curiosities reflects on the history of these once popular installation in the middle of 1600 in European homes to house curious collectable items that were found to be odd, exotic and sometimes a bit macabre. The exhibit is open Sundays from 1pm to 5pm at William D. Cannon Art Gallery, 1775 Dove Lane in Carlsbad, CA, until January 8, 2017.
